He also made an appearance on the CD with Johann Adolf Hasse’s Siroe – Re di Persia, as well as featuring on the world-premiere recording of Antonio Caldara‘s La Concordia de’pianeti.
In 2014, Franco Fagioli made his debut at the Salzburg Whitsun Festival with his programme Giambattista Velutti, the homage to another famous Italian castrat Velutti, 1780–1861). In the same year, there were two debuts with works by Mozart: Sesto in La clemenza di Tito in Nancy and Idamante in Idomeneo at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. In 2015, Franco Fagioli is touring France and Germany in the role of Cesare for Leonardo Vinci’s opera Catone in Utica and with program Arias for Caffarelli, together with Il Pomo D’Oro and Riccardo Minasi.
