An exceptional mutual concert of the American soprano Nadine Sierra and the South African soprano Pretty Yende took place for the first time in Vienna Konzerthaus on March 3, 2022, accompanied by the Slovak Philharmonic under the baton of Pablo Mielga. The success was great, the ovations were endless; no wonder this project took off for a small tour. The next destination is Prague (March 1, 2023), followed by Paris (March 6, 2023). Both concerts will be conducted by Giacomo Sagripanti, while the programme will include the most beautiful arias and duets.

Nadine Sierra is the recipient of the 2018 Beverly Sills Artist Award, which is awarded by the Metropolitan Opera. She is a sought-after singer in opera houses all over the world. She collaborated with New York's Carnegie Hall, the Milan Opera House La Scala, Paris National Opera, Berlin State Opera and many other scenes around the world. In 2018, her debut album There's a Place for Us has been released by Deutsche Grammophon/Universal, followed by album Made For Opera in 2022. In the 2022/23 season Nadine Sierra will perform as Violetta (La traviata) at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Festival, as Gilda (Rigoletto) in Naples, Teatro di San Carlo and State Opera Berlin, and as Massenet's Manon in the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. This season, she will also expand her repertoire with the roles of Amina (La sonnambula) and Liù (Turandot), and will introduce them in Madrid's Teatro Real.

Pretty Yende is one of classical music's brightest stars. She performed in Prague at the invitation of Nachtigall Artists in January 2014, April 2017, November 2019 and in September 2021; each time she dazzled the audience with a sparkling clear soprano voice, acting charm and a great sense of humor. In 2011, she won the world opera competition Operalia and in January 2013 she made her debut as Adèle po alongside Juan Diego Flórez in Rossini's Le comte Ory. This debut literally catapulted her into operatic “orbit” and invitations from famous opera scenes followed. Her calendar for the 2022/23 season includes, in addition to a number of concerts, guest appearances at the Paris National Opera (Pamina, Die Zauberflöte and Juliette, Roméo et Juliette), at San Francisco Opera (Violetta, La traviata), Vienna State Opera (Marie, La Fille du régiment, and Massenet's Manon), Berlin State Opera (Micaëla, Carmen) and at the Hamburg State Opera (Gilda, Rigoletto, as well as Olympia, Antonia and Giulieta, Les contes d’Hoffmann).

PKF – Prague Philharmonia Orchestra will be led by a charismatic Italian conductor Giacomo Sagripanti, winner of the Opera Awards poll in the category The Best Young Conductor of the year 2016. Today, he is a regular guests at the world's greatest opera houses.
