Anna El-Khashem – soprano, Alyona Abramova – mezzo-soprano, Joshua Owen Mills – tenor, Johannes Kammler – baritone, André Callegaro – piano

Start: 7.00 pm

One of the most notable talents of today’s opera world – tenor Petr Nekoranec needs no long introductions. He won a number of prestigious vocal competitions. Most recently January 2017, he won one of the most prestigious singing competitions – the International Competition of Francesco Viñas which takes place in Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona. He took the first place and also received special prizes from the hands of the legendary Plácido Domingo and the management of Teatro Real de Madrid. Petr was a member of the Bavarian State Opera and its Opera Studio between 2014 and 2016, where he assumed a number of roles, including the title role of Rossini’s Le Comte Ory, and Britten’s Albert Herring. The latter role earned him the 2016 Bavarian Art Award (received on 28th November). Currently, Petr attends the Lindemann Program for Young Artist at the Metropolitan Opera. He is the first Czech who has been accepted into this prestigious two-year program. Petr Nekoranec studied singing at the Conservatory in Pardubice in the class of prof. Jarmila Chaloupková.

For his concert at the New City Hall, he invited his colleagues from the Opera Studio in Munich: Russian soprano Anna El-Khashem and Russian mezzo Alyona Abramova, as well as two singers who participated at the Albert Herring production with him: British tenor Joshua Owen Mills and German baritone Johannes Kammler.

Chance for young artists! Within the frame of this joint project with the Munich Opera Studio, Nachtigall Arists will organize singing for the management of the Bavarian State Opera on 15th May. Young Czech talented singers may enroll by sending their applications with a CV, photograph and a list of two arias for the auditions NLT 15th April 2017 to an@nachtigallartists.cz
