Our Mission

Many young, even very talented, artists fail to achieve an international career for one reason only – they do not have sufficient support from people around them, i.e. those who have experience with an artistic career abroad. Talent, good technical skills, and language skills are not enough for young artists; they must have the ferocity and desire to fight for their place in the spotlight.

Our mission is assisting young singers with the right direction, with preparation for tough international competition. We want to help them build the position they deserve, given their abilities.

For these reasons, the owner of the Nachtigall Artists agency, Alena Kunertová, initiated the establishment of the Association of Friends of Musical Talents, which focuses on Czech artists. Its main goal is to secure financial resources for the development of opera talents and their presentation to the general and professional public.

After thorough preparation, we support the most talented in participating in the most important singing competitions, auditioning for distinctive figures in the opera world, and last but not least, we give the best the opportunity to perform at one of the Talents or Stars of World Opera concerts.

Successful carrers of Lada Bočková, Arnheidur Eiríksdóttir, Monika Jägerová, Lukáš Bařák, Petr Nekoranec and others are an excellent exampnts of the Association´s effoers. Their stories can be a motivation for other young singers.

A universal assistance to talented artists is understandably very financially demanding. The Association of Musical Talents therefore asks for support for the project. Without kind donors, our mission is impossible.
