A large number of young, even very talented artists do not achieve an international career for one single reason – they have no one to support them and help them build the status their talent deserves. That is why the owner of the Nachtigall Artists agency initiated the Association of Friends of Musical Talents with the aim of providing talented, especially Czech, singers with financial resources for their participation in international competitions, organizing their singing for important personalities of the opera world, and giving the best the opportunity to perform at one of the concerts of the World Opera Stars. Thanks to foundations and private donors, several artists such as Lada Bočková, Lukáš Bařák, Arnheiður Eiríksdóttir, Monika Jägerová, Petr Nekoranec and Boris Prýgl have been able to participate in world competitions and foreign internships. Their stories and successes are examples, inspiration and motivation for other young singers.
For students of conservatories, the Academy of Music and other interested parties, the Association organizes singing courses led by great tutors such as Vincenzo Scalera and Michele D'Elia (Accademia della Scala), Pal Moe (Glyndebourne Festival), Tobias Truniger and David Lomelí (Bavarian State Opera,) conductors Giacomo Sagripanti, Lukasz Borowicz, and the current artistic director of the Wrocław Opera in Poland, Mariusz Kwiecien. Experienced voice advisors Claudia Visca (Musikhochschule Wien) and Antonio Carangelo works with the young singers, too. Along with the Italian Institute, the Asssociation prepares an extraordinary program of "operatic Italian" course for both singers and tutors. In the Talents of the World Opera Cycle, the Association presents winners of international singing competitions, rising stars from the Czech Republic and abroad.
A general assistance to talented artists is naturally very financially demanding. The Association of Friends of Musical Talents is therefore asking for your kind support of this project.
Thank you for your patronage!
