Armenian soprano Maria Sardayan graduated from the Conservatoire in Yerevan (2006–2014), the Vocal Academy in Osimo, Italy (2015–2019) and the Academy at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples (2021–2023). On 18th December 2022, along with several other academy graduates and the orchestra of the Naples Theater, she took part in a gala in Prague's Rudolfinum as part of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague. In July 2023 she was Musetta (La bohème) at Teatro San Carlo, guested as Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte) at Teatro Politeama in Palermo, in Salzburg and in other Italian theaters (Como, Brescia, Pavia, Bergamo, Cremona), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) at the Teatro Bellini in Catania, Blöndchen (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) at the Pafos Aphrodite Festival in Cyprus, Fiorilla (Il Turco in Italia) at the Teatro Orione in Rome, etc. In August 2016, she won the Grande Voci International Singing Competition in Salzburg.
Islandic mezzo-soprano Arnheiður Eiríksdóttir was awarded the prestigious 2023 Thalia Award for the role of Octavian in the new production of Richard Strauss’ Rosenkavalier at the National Theater Opera Prague, where she has been a soloist since the 2020/21 season. In the 2023/24 season, on her home stage, she will be heard as Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Varvara (Káťa Kabanová), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Stéphano (Roméo et Juliette), Mercédès (Carmen), Hänsel (Hänsel und Grete), Octavian (Der Rosenkavalier), as well as Amando, Kitchen Boy and Composer in new productions of Le Grand macabre, Rusalka and Ariadna auf Naxos. She made guest performance as Dorabella at the Daegu Opera House in South Korea, Jeníček and Suzuki (Madama Butterfly) at the Iceland Opera in Reykjavík and Prince Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus) at the jOpera summer festival in Austria. She also performs songs and oratorios and has performed at many song recitals in Europe. Arnheiður studied singing at the Reykjavík Conservatoire (2007–2012) and continued at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna. In the years 2018–2020, she was a member of the opera studio at the Cologne Opera. In Prague, she presented herself for the first time at the concert of the Association of Friends of Musical Talents and Nachtigall Artists on 21st May 2018 in the New Town City Hall.
Both young talented singers will be accompanied by the excellent pianist Ahmad Hedar.
