Xabier Anduaga & Lada BočkováOpera gala

Xabier Anduaga – tenor
Lada Bočková – soprano
Vincenzo Scalera – piano

Spanish tenor Xabier Anduaga (*1995) won the famous Plácido Dominga Operalia competition in July 2019, and in October of the same year he performed at a concert in Prague New Town Hall at the invitation of Nachtigall Artists. He had several major debuts at the time in prestigious opera houses and festivals, such as the Rossini Festival in Pesaro, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris and the Opéra National de Paris, the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Donizetti Festival in Bergamo and others. In the spring of 2022, he will make his debut at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich (Edgardo, Lucia di Lammermoor) and at London's Covent Garden (Ernesto, Don Pasquale) and will also assume the role of Almaviva (Il barbiere di Siviglia) at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples and Terme di Caracalla in Rome. In May 2021, Xabier won the prestigious International Opera Awards in the Young Singer category.

Like Xabier, soprano Lada Bočková has the status of a rising star. Since the 2020/21 season, she has been a member of the Opera Bonn ensemble in Germany, where, in the 2021/22 season, she performs as Clorinda (Rossini: La Cenerentola), Gretel (Humperdinck: Hansel und Gretel), Laudine (Moritz Eggert: Iwein), Donna Anna (Mozart: Don Giovanni), Tebaldo (Verdi: Don Carlo), and prepares the roles of Susanna (Mozart: Le nozze di Figaro), Oscar (Verdi: Un ballo in maschera) and Pamina (Mozart: Die Zauberflöte).
