As of the 2020/21 season, soprano Zdislava Bočková has been a soloist of the opera house in Bonn. She graduated from the Conservatoire Brno and Janáček Academy of Music in Brno. She participated at masterclasses of Edda Moser, Edith Lienbacher, Angelika Kirchschlager, Luciana D’Intino and Claudio Desderi. She is currently studying with coach Massimiliano Murrali from the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. She is a laureate of several international competitions including Antonín Dvořák International Singing Competition in Karlovy Vary, The Competition of Bohuslav Martinů Foundation and The Czech Philharmonic Competition in Prague, Il Trofeo La Fenice, Premio Boni and Concorso Comunità Europea per Giovani Cantanti Lirici in Italy, Otto Edelmann International Singing Competition in Vienna, and a semifinalist of Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition 2018 and Plácido Domingo’s Operalia 2019.
In 2017–2019 seasons, Zdislava Bočková performed at the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale in Spoleto, Italy, in the roles of Dorina (Sarri: L'impressario delle Canarie), Frasquita (Bizet: Carmen), Clorinda (Rossini: La Cenerentola) and Violetta (Verdi: La traviata). In February 2018, she made her debut at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice as Olga (Lehár: Die lustige Witwe). Since 2018, Zdislava Bočková has also guest appeared at the National Theatre Brno. She cooperates with leading Czech orchestras (The Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, PKF – Prague Philharmonia) and performs at prestigious festivals such as Smetana Litomyšl, Janáček Brno, Janáček Ostrava, iSING International Young Artist Festival and Youth Arts Festival in China, Rassegna Internazionale di Musica Sacra, Festival dei Due Mondi and Festival delle Nazioni in Italy.
