Zuzana MarkováOpera Gala

Due to the current pandemic situation, the concert will take place in Dvořák's Hall without spectators, will be broadcast live on ČRo Vltava Radio, and will be recorded and subsequently broadcast by Czech Television – ČT Art. The live concert will take place on an alternative date after the restrictions have been released. Tickets remain valid.

We were able to meet the Czech soprano Zuzana Marková, who has been shining as the World Opera Star for six years now, for the first time in Prague thanks to the Nachtigall Artists agency at a concert on 5th November 2018. The Prague audience was enchanted as much as opera audiences in Italy (Venice, Florence, Genoa, Rome, Palermo, Naples, Turin), France (Paris Opera), Austria (Vienna State Opera), Germany (Berlin State Opera) or the USA (Los Angeles). There is no doubt that Zuzana Marková has become one of the prominent singers: the Czech soprano has established herself abroad, led by Italy, in the Italian repertoire, and moreover in such a competitive field as Gilda, Violetta or Lucia di Lammermoor.

Zuzana Marková's piano partner at the Prague concert will be Lukáš Klánský, who is one of the most important and sought-after Czech pianists of the young generation. He performs all over Europe, he has also given concerts in Turkey and South Africa. He introduced himself to Czech listeners at the festivals Prague Spring, Dvořák Prague, World Piano Works, Václav Hudeček's Music Festival, etc.
